Following its launch in 1959 the classic Mini was soon on its way to becoming a global icon especially after partnering with Cooper in the early 60’s to develop the fabled Cooper & Cooper S variants. Not long after the Cooper S’s release it was entered in the Monte Carlo Rallye which sensationally it won in 1964 & 65. Production of the classic Mini continued until 2000 when the last one rolled off the production line however this was swiftly followed by the new generation BMW Mini which launched in the same year. Scorpion have been producing performance exhausts for the classic and new generation Mini’s for over 30 years, so it was natural that we became chief technical partner with the increasingly popular Mini Challenge race series ensuring true track to road technology transfer for our products.

Challenge: Dual 90mm tailpipes.

TunR: Dual 100mm tailpipes, valved.

Our TunR system brings you valve functionality! Drivers can now control their car's sound with the TunR Active Exhaust Valve and wireless remote fob. Whether you’re looking for a subtle, refined tone for daily drives or an open, unrestricted sound for spirited runs, our valve module lets you choose the ideal exhaust tone with just the click of a button (TunR system only).

Once either type is installed, the new freer-flowing GPF-back systems ensure efficient exhaust gas expulsion, enhancing the vehicle's power delivery, sharpening throttle response, and reducing overall weight.

Tailpipe Styles:

Ascari: Our premium sport option, available exclusively in a matte carbon finish, highlights the distinctive sporty carbon weave. Its two-piece floating construction, with an inner brushed stainless-steel insert, allows hot gases to pass through without discolouring or weakening the outer carbon shell (TunR system only).

Daytona: This design needs no introduction, the classic Scorpion Daytona slash-cut style with a modern twist on a timeless look. The Daytona is a great-looking option for everything from hot hatchbacks to flagship autobahn saloons (TunR system only).

STW: Put on your leather driving gloves as we embrace motorsport heritage with the classic STW straight-cut trim. Tried and tested, the straight-cut look delivers raw, unfiltered aesthetics, harkening back to a golden era of motoring.

Tailpipe Finishes:

Polished: Premium T304 stainless steel polished trims undergo a meticulous multi-step buffing process, resulting in a long-lasting, mirror-like finish that stays shining (Daytona/STW).

Black Ceramic: The matte black finish provides a stealthy, modern look. The tailpipes undergo a specialised coating process, ensuring a durable and flawless finish (Daytona only).

GPF Delete:

What benefits does a GPF delete provide? This additional pipework eliminates the highly restrictive GPF filter, which otherwise drastically muffles the exhaust tone, creates excessive back-pressure, and limits tuning potential (motorsport use only).

This can be optioned as either resonated (fitted with a silencer to reduce drone and provide a more refined sound) or non-resonated (without a silencer, resulting in a louder exhaust note).

Downpipes:

We’re offering 89.9mm/3.5” downpipes for those seeking superior tuning potential, both on the dyno and on the road. Scorpion’s advanced downpipe technology enables unrivalled engine output.

Choose the 200-cell sport catalyst for significantly improved flow over OEM or opt for unrestricted de-cats for maximum gains (for motorsport use only).

Exhaust Tunnel Brace:

Want to tighten your grip on the road? Scorpion’s lightweight aluminium chassis braces tick all the boxes. The single-piece manufacturing process ensures a high-strength connection under load. Braces are powder-coated black and etched with the Scorpion mark.

Our underbody bracing reduces performance loss due to chassis twist during hard braking or cornering. Enhanced body rigidity translates to a more direct feel with the road surface. (Fits both the Scorpion and OEM pipework.)

Fully Interchangeable:

Scorpion’s interchangeable program allows for flexible upgrades. As you progress through different tuning stages, your exhaust can be modified to meet your evolving needs. Check the individual product's technical data for fitment information, as fitment may vary between products.
